LeJean Buehler, a beloved and devoted member of the community, passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on October 30, 1929, in Louisville, Kentucky, LeJean was the cherished daughter of Charles and Rose Stinger.
LeJean graduated from Our Lady of Mercy High School in Louisville, KY, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with dedication and commitment. Her career was marked by her 25 years of service as a secretary at St. Luke Catholic Church, where she was a treasured colleague and friend.
In addition to her professional life, LeJean was a passionate member of several choirs, including the St. Luke Catholic Church and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church choirs, as well as the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. Her love for music was matched by her involvement with the Daughters of the Isabella and her enthusiasm as an avid Bridge player. He angelic voice was enjoyed by all who heard it.
LeJean was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Buehler, her son, David Buehler, and her parents, Charles and Rose Stinger. She is survived by her loving children, Barbara Hellwig (Tom), JC Buehler, and Matthew Buehler (Lisa), as well as her cherished grandsons, Trent Hellwig and Sean Buehler.
A Visitation will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, located at 10655 Haverstick Road, Carmel, Indiana, on December 15, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at the same location.
LeJean's legacy of love, faith, and dedication will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
