Michael W. Tyree

Michael Wayne Tyree, 57, of Indianapolis, departed this life July 23, 2019. Mike was born May 2, 1962 in Indianapolis, IN to Billy J. Tyree and Judy (Bolander) Tyree. He proudly served in the United States Navy and worked most of his life as an electrician. Mike was happiest making memories with family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and watching science fiction movies and Animal Planet. He was also a member of American Legion Kennington Post #34. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Billy J. Tyree and grandparents, Lester & Audrey Bolander and Ernest Tyree and Nola Travillian. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Brockman; his mother, Judy (Joe) Welling; sister, Karen (Bob) Gaertner; step-children, John, Nicole, Anastasia; twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mike will be from 4 – 8 pm on Tuesday, July 30th at Leppert Mortuary – Nora Chapel with a time for sharing memories beginning at 7:00 pm.
