

Born on February 21, 1929, in Boston, Indiana, he was the son of the late William Brandley and Nellie (Parks) Brandley.
Norman married Charlotte Ann Kroggel on June 21, 1952, at the Methodist Church in Shelbyville, Indiana.
He will be remembered as a patriotic and prayerful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a member of the 2nd Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, an Air Force veteran of the Korean War era, and the Human Resource Vice President for Indiana Farm Bureau Cooperative. During retirement, Norman was a volunteer at the White River Gardens, Garfield Park Gardens, Eiteljorg Museum, and at Senior PGA events and NCAA Golf Championships in Central Indiana.
Surviving are his wife Charlotte, his three adult children Bruce Brandley (Pamela), Brian Brandley (Diana), and Susan Wilson (Jeffery). He is also survived by grandchildren Aaron Brandley, Nathan (Jessica) Brandley, Page Crighton, Jaimie (Kelty) Lanham, Lauran (Dan) Warner, Shannon (Brady) Severs and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Christopher Brandley.
In accordance with family wishes, a private celebration of life and interment in the Second Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden will be held at a later date.
