Scott Murray Jahns, age 50, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. Scott was born December 10, 1971 to Ivan and Margi (Huse) Jahns. Scott grew up graduating from North Central High School in 1990. Scott then earned his business degree from Indiana University in 1995.
Scott was a kind and gentle soul who was all about having fun and making meaningful memories. Scott loved sports of all sorts and was fanatical about Indiana University Athletics, the Chicago Cubs and the Indy 500. He kept a vast collection of baseball caps, loved outdoor adventures, and rarely passed on an opportunity to be surrounded by those he loved. He loved playing the piano banging out Billy Joel and Elton John tunes.
Scott is survived by his loving daughters, Maggie (fiancé, T.C. Smith) Jahns and Abby Jahns; his devoted parents, Ivan & Margi Jahns; his loving big brother Paul (Alyssa) Jahns and dear niece Ella Brock Jahns.
A celebration of life for Scott will be at 11:00 am on August 27th following visitation at 9:30 am at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Indianapolis….a celebration for all that he loved!
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Scott's memory may be made to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, 2001 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260.
