Alexander John 'Buster' Watson

Alexander John "Buster" WatsonAlexander John "Buster" Watson, age 76, passed away in Inverness Hospital on Monday October 19, 2009. Born in Inverness on May 20, 1933, he was the son of the Late Harry and Catherine (Matheson) Watson. He was a member of St. Matthew's Church, Inverness. He lived most of his life in Inverness and worked for the Dept. of Highways and always enjoyed a good Ceilidh and loved to spend most of his time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra and children Lindsay and Devon; Cindy and children Emma and Katie, Inverness; sons, Stan (Marilyn) and children Alexandria, Shania, Quentin and Nathaniel, Verona, Ont.; Barry (Julie) and children, Adam, Cayla, Kelsey, Jessy, Jeremy and Lily, Inverness; sister, Marion Watson, Blundon, New Waterford. Predeceased by his wife, Rose (VanVolsen). Visitation will be in Inverness Funeral Home on today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22, at 11 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church, Inverness with Rev. Jim MacNaughton officiating, burial to follow in St. Matthew's Cemetery in Strathlorne, Inverness Co. Memorial donations may be made to Central Inverness Palliative Care Society.
