Hello dear cousins
My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers to each and all of you on behalf of Aunt Emma and my siblings, as you mourn the passing of your mom, Aunt Alfreda. I really only knew Aunt Alfreda during visits on the trips she made to Ontario, but she was always so full of life and down to earth, and I always felt a kinship with her. Her passing will leave an incredible void in your family for sure, but know that she is now Home and with you always.
Love, Cathy Moloney

My sincerest condoleances to all of you, my dear cousins. With tante Freda's passing goes a part of history. We are left behind to create the next chapter of the Marchand history book.
I have many memories of ma tante but the most vivid are the ones created when visiting as a child. I loved her but had a certain awe and fear of her because she was always in control of everything in the house and exerted her authority on all of you in a direct and curt voice. Of course she had to with so many children to manage. But she did it brilliantly and never seemed exhausted
. Later in life, when that responsibility was no longer hers, I found her so very warm and eager to learn about anything that was going on in my life. I will always remember her smile and her hugs. I will miss her.
