Alma Rose Larade

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear sister Alma after a well fought batter with cancer, on April 3rd, 2019 in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her son, Marc (Lyne) Larade, grandchildren, Brooke, Mackenzie and Marcus, all of Cheticamp; sisters, Pauline and Dora, Inverary Manor; Hattie, Inverness; Sylvia, Halifax; nieces and nephews, Pauline (Donald), Rene (Paula), Amedee (Deborah), Angele (Omer), Maurice, Cheticamp; grandniece, Ronita, Halifax; grandnephews, Glen, Daniel, Halifax; Dillon, Fredericton. We would like to thank our friends and family for their continuous support, prayers and food to Cheticamp and Inverness. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in Stella Maris Church, Inverness on Monday April 8th from 10-10:45 a.m. with Funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central Inverness Palliative Care Society. There are no words to express our gratitude to the Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital from all departments, especially 2 West, which became her home after 5 months with them and a special thanks to Kevin and Tonya. Sylvia and Family,

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Alma's passing. Although I had not seen Alma in a number of years, I have lots of memories of times spent together, often laughing together. I remember Alma's big and generous heart, as well as her kindness. Please know that you are in my thoughts
