Born in Inverness, Kaye was predeceased by a son in infancy, her husband, Joseph (Joe), her son, James (Jimmy) and her grandson, Eric. She was also predeceased by her parents Flormon and Sarah (Campbell) Dindoff, brother Freddie, sister Jean and special uncle Big Freddie.
She is survived by her daughter, Marg (Allan) MacQuarrie, Massachussets; sons, MacGee (Sharon), Gillisdale; Eric (Geraldine), Dunvegan, Robert (Bobby) (Lisa), Gillisdale and youngest daughter, Valerie (Mike)Towle, Big Baddeck.
Kaye is also survived by a brother, Alex( Kathleen) Dindoff, London, Ontario, sister, Betty and brother in law, Lester Morgan, Port Hawkesbury.
While born in Inverness, Kaye made her home with her beloved husband and children in Gillisdale for over 50 years, before spending the last years of her life living with her daughter Valerie, in Big Baddeck.
Kaye was a renowned and respected member of the Inverness County community. She was one of the first women to hold a license to fish gaspereau on the Margaree River, regularly opened the door of her Gillisdale home to any visitor, and welcomed them with a hot meal or cold drink.
Her passions included reading, crocheting, classic film, coffee on the deck overlooking the river, whether it was the Margaree or Baddeck. Her greatest passion, however, was the family that she loved so fiercely. Nothing made Kaye beam like being surrounded by her family, from her oldest children, down to her youngest great-grandchildren.
