Evelyn Cecelia Hunt

Hunt, Evelyn Cecelia - 94. It is with sadness that we the family announce the passing of a dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Evelyn passed away peacefully in the Inverary Manor surrounded by her family and the wonderful staff by her side. Evelyn was a daughter of the late Catherine and Michael MacMullen. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband of many years Harold; her daughter, Pauline (Hunt) Doucette; long life friend, Joe Hood; brothers, Stanley, Jackie, Alphonse; sisters, Catherine and Rita. Evelyn is survived by son, Richie (Judy) Hunt of Inverness; brother, Michael (Sylvia) MacMullen of Florence; grandchildren, Shaun, Crystal, Mark, Anne Marie, Steven, Rick and Cathy, 10 great grandchildren, and many neices and nephews that were special to her in many ways. Evelyn was an avid lover of the outdoors in her younger years where she swam and gardened everyday of the year from May until October. She was also a cook for many years, including making her special apple and raisin pies for everyone. Evelyn also loved to attend a good dance and have a good laugh. There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday March 14th 2012 at 2 p.m. in Stella Maris Church, Inverness with Father Duncan Mac Isaac officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Inverary Manor, Inverness or Stella Maris Parish Cemetery Fund. We the family would like to thank the staff at the Inverary Manor for all their special care and love given to Evelyn over the last few years. You are all special angels in our eyes. What each and every one of you have done will never be forgotten. We would also like to thank Dr. Mark Bennett for all your kind care and support over that numerous years.
