I met George through the Inverness Pipe Band close to 24 yeas ago . He was quite a character always keen to play his pipes .
He would drop in to see me when passing through Antigonish and usually had a story to tell and would always leave me laughing as he went on his way .
Our heartfelt condolences to his wife and family.

Dear Matilda, Brian, Cathy, Neil and Mary,
Please accept my sympathy on the death of George. He was always in such good spirit and so generous with his time when asked to play the pipes. George enjoyed a laugh and always gave me so much time. He will be a loss not only to you his family but also to the Parish of Broad Cove.
George will be remembered in a mass and all of you in my prayer.

Deepest sympathy to the Ingraham family on your loss. Kenloch has lost another great neighbour. Thank you George for your military service and just an all round great person and piper extraordinaire. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The picture I included of George I took on Aug.3, 2012 at MacKinnon's Campground, East Lake Ainslie at a private wedding where George piped the bride to be down outdoor aisle.

Matilda & Family: We are to sorry for Your loss... The Piper from Kenlock will be truly missed. As My Mother would say " George was always on Deck when asked or needed. " Mom truly loved visiting The Kennedy's in Kenlock , making the trip from Mulgrave often over the years.

She was so grateful to George for being with the Family at our Grandmother's, Your Aunt Mary Jessie's Funeral in Mulgrave - As She said, Willie Kennedy, George Ingraham, and Father Rankin brought Cape Breton to Grandmother that day.

I know You will all cherish the memories of such a good man .

Please accept our Sincere Condolences.
