It is with heavy hearts that we regret to announce the sudden passing of George Allan Yipp. For anyone that was lucky to know George, knew the size of his heart. He wore his heart of gold on his sleeve very proudly. Family was always first for George and he was just a call away for anyone who ever needed him; family or friend. George leaves behind his loving daughter, Taryn (Cail); and his sweet granddaughter, Maven. George would often tell everyone how complete his life was when Maven entered this world. George was the most proud of Taryn, his pride and joy. George was always up for a good discussion on worldly events, as he was always educated on history, the news or world events, and held a firm stance on anything he believed in. He didn’t mind a good debate on his own values and beliefs, but he would be the first to shake your hand following. Everyone knew George as “Uncle George,” because he was that type of man to everyone who crossed his path.
George leaves behind his mother, Patricia Gillis; sister, Pam Hartford (John); and his brothers, Warren and Jon Yipp.
George was the biggest family man, who always went out of his way for his nieces and nephews; Mitchell, Nya, Wendel, Hailey, Leelyn, John, and Coady. George didn’t stop sharing his love there, as he was so affectionate, loving and caring towards the next generation of children, his grandnieces and grand-nephews. A special mention to George’s lifelong friend, Jimmy, who he made countless memories with over their many years, from their youth to days before his passing.
He is predeceased by his father, Jon Yipp; brother, Lance, who was his best friend; and his niece, Accacia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
