In early June, Harold received a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Despite this devastating news, he showed us everyday his strength, determination and courage to keep fighting. From day one he cancelled the negativity out of his mind and started every natural treatment his beautiful and smart wife Kelly could find him. Harold never stopped fighting, day after day, week after week; I never in my life witnessed this kind of powerful strength.
Sadly, On November 5th, 2017, Harold’s Soul, peacefully returned to God, as his wife Kelly and myself (sister Sherry) were by his side.
As Harold's sister It's hard to find words..... But anyone who's lives were touched by him knew his heart was solid gold and strong as a lion. As long as he could be near water, woods, the earth, music and his family his soul felt at peace. Many of these traditions will be carried on by his children.
On September 24th, we pulled off a surprise wedding as Harold requested our help in marrying the love of his life Kelly. Their children, along with our family, stood by their sides for support. " Loved you yesterday, love you still, always have and always will"
Harold is survived by wife, Kelly Baye; sons, Kaleb 14, Brando 12, Jagger 10, daughter, Zada 7. Also survived by his mother, Shirley Bugbee; sister, Sherry Bugbee(Gary); niece Courtney, and his beloved Huskies
Predeceased by father, Harold Bugbee Sr.; grandparents, Lawrence and Mary Martell, Amos and Beatrice Bugbee; and infant son, Spirit Bugbee.
We, the family, would like to extend our sincere "thank you", to everyone for the care, support and prayers during Harold's strong fight....
Loving appreciation goes out to Doris and Lloyd, Tammie, Dr.K and Camilla, as well as, to a couple of Harold’s many Good Bros, Todd and Scott.
Additional, heartfelt thanks to Skip and Sylvia, Darrell and Tammy, and Johnny and Linda.
Harold experienced an abundance of help, support and Love from so many more kind and caring people, who do not appear on this list. You know who you are, Thank you for being a part of our Journey, may you know many Blessings, and that you are appreciated from deep within our hearts.
A Celebration Of Life ceremony will be held in Cape Breton, on August 15th, 2018, to mark Harold’s 50th Birthday, and to commemorate the Life of a Man who was deeply Loved. Location to be determined, with further announcement.
Donations can be made to mother Shirley Bugbee in trust for Harold's children.
Free, like a river raging
Strong as the wind I’m facing.
Chasing dreams and racing father time.
Deep like the grandest canyon,
Wild like an untamed stallion.
If you can’t see my heart you must be blind.
You can knock me down and watch me bleed
But you can’t keep no chains on me.
I was born free!
