It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Henry "Hank" Timmons, age 85, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 17, 2019. Hank was born in Inverness, on April 15, 1933 to Henry and Elizabeth (Clark) Timmons. As a young man, Hank left Inverness to work in Ontario for a number of years and where he also married his wife, Audrey Taylor. Love of home brought them back to Inverness, where Hank worked for Ocean Paving for a number of years and then for Nova Scotia Forest Industries in Port Hawkesbury for the next 33 years. Audrey, Hank & Family,

My sincere condolences. I was very saddened by the news of Hank’s passing. He was a kind man, and a great neighbour.

I remember he used to give me pointers on mowing and such when I’d be helping over at my grandfathers and of course Hank travelled with my father to the mill for years.

We always enjoyed popping over at Halloween growing up, and still hold happy memories of those days.

My thoughts are with family and friends during this sad time.

Kindest regards,

Steve MacArthur
