

We, the family of James Norman White, are saddened to announce his passing on December 27th, 2014, within the familiar walls of the Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. The son of the late Stewart And Julia White was born in Inverness on January 26th, 1944. James is survived by his wife, Winnie; son, Jamie (Barbara); daughters, Leah and Onna; brothers, Percy and Stewart;sister, Judy (Glen); nieces and nephews, and his loving grandchildren, Ashley, Jalen, Tyler, Rory, and the newest apple of his eye, Julia White. Predeceased by brother, Kenneth and sisters, Margaret, Georgie, and Norma.
James is remembered by his profound impact that he held being the X-Ray technician at the Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital for many years. His way of kindness, eagerness to help others, sense of humour, and meek and mild demeanour will forever be remembered. After battling illness for approximately eight years within the comfort of his own home, James passed away peacefully at ICMH with his family members by his side. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by family request. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30 at 11 a.m. in St. Matthew’s United Church, Inverness with Pastor Maggie Plant celebrating, burial to follow in St. John’s United Cemetery, Strathlorne.
