Along with his parents, Jackie was predeceased by a daughter in infancy; brother, Lauchie Charles; sister, Lorraine Middaugh; and sister-in-law, Ann Fraser. My deepest condolences to Jackie's family. Jackie and I were school chums in the late 50's and early 60's. He was a great friend and we always found time to sit and chat. Later on in life when I would be home we would meet in town while shopping and have a catch-up. After 2012 when I would be home from Alberta, we would meet at the Hillsboro Concerts on Saturday nights, have a brief chat and enjoy the great talent and a cup of tea at the intermission. I will miss those chats. Rest in Peace my old friend.

Deepest sympathies to Gloria, Bernie, Brenda and Bruce and families on Jackie's passing. Great memories of visiting at his home and that of his parents when everyone was present at the old house...lots of stories going around and Gloria and Jessie ready with the tea pot. Remember Jackie taking us smelt fishing down by Lamal's with the big dip net and Jackie, Gloria and kids skidooing up the track to my parents place in Kenloch for a winter Sunday afternoon visit.
Condolences !!
I am including a photo I took at my Grandfather's in 1973 when Jackie was up mowing hay for us. In the photo are: John Murdock MacKinnon ( sitting on Jackie's tractor ) his son Murdoch Neil , Florence MacIsaac ( John M's sister from Boston ) my sister Wanda and Jackie.
