Louis Edward vanVolsen

Louis Edward vanVolsen -age 62, passed away on Sunday April 28, 2013, in Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, Montreal Quebec. Born in Inverness on May 9, 1950, he was a son of the late Henry and Annie Martha "Tootsie" (MacIsaac) van Volsen. Louis enjoyed lawn bowling and liked to listen to the good "OLDIES" and loved to receive date squares from his cousin Patricia through the mail. Louis is granted his wish to return home to his beloved Inverness. He will enjoy all the privileges of life as he is reunited with his family in the afterlife. Louis is survived by his first wife, Linda McKinnon, sons, Bobby, London Ont; Roderick, Ottawa; and David, Montreal; brothers, Robert, Inverness and Henry (Mary), Big Pond; grand aunt, Martha MacMillan, Windsor Ont; numerous cousins. Louis is predeceased by his sister Mary. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 2, 2013 in Inverness Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Friday at 11 am in Stella Maris Church, Inverness with Fr. Duncan MacIsaac officiating. Burial to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
