It was sad to hear that Marilyn had left us.  She lived in Crooked Brook and it was great to have an older cousin and friend living three houses away. It seemed she was always there from the time of realization that I was her  cousin.  This bond was present from the age of throwing rocks at passing cars until putting together Halloween costumes in vain attempts to win prices at the Parish Hall in our teenage years.  The connection weakened over the years until more formative contacts happened within the past decade.   Her laugh, her way with words and her silent manner of letting me know we were still related “and don’t forget it”.

I will miss and others.   To Marilyn’s family I can only echo what has been previously said and written.

My sincere condolences to her son Stephen and his family, to her brother Stephen and his family & to her many friends & extended family.  I remember Marilyn from my days growing up in the Red Rows very well.  She was playing baseball with us kids and accidently hit my brother in the head with a baseball bat.  She felt so bad, and she came to my parents home to explain what happened & to warn my parents that Darren might need to see a doctor to get his head checked out.  My parents later joked about how that hit to his head made him smarter in school, and that Marilyn should hit me in the head with a baseball bat so it might make me smarter in school too!

Warmest condolences to Marilyn’s son, Stephen, Shawnie and family and also to Marilyn’s brother, Stephen, Anne and their family on the loss of Marilyn. 
As a child, I was always impressed by how brave, adventurous and laugh loving cousin Marilyn was. In later years, I was happy that Marilyn and my brother, Kevin, had the opportunity to develop a wonderful cousin friendship. They were both avid readers and I can easily imagine them both still doing so, with some friendly banter going back and forth, of course. Rest in peace, Marilyn.

I am so sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing. She was always so tolerant and patient when we would invade her home. I remember how kind she was to take in her sons' friends when they needed a place to stay. I know she will be missed dearly by her friends and family.

Marley and I were joined at the hip through  our childhood and teen years ,my heart is broken by her passing . We shared so much, including each other’s parents, each set worked hard to keep us on the straight and narrow, successfully for the most part. Enough said. Good by my dear friend, rest easy.
