Mary was a daughter of the late Margaret Dunn and James H. Coady.
We regret to announce the peaceful passing of Mary in Inverary Manor, Inverness.
A dear mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Mary is predeceased by her husband, Michael; daughters, Camilla and Judy; son, Alex; and sister, Gert.
She is survived by her children, Cathy (Jerald), Michael, Rose (John), Daniel (Helen), Finley (Sylvia), Richard (Charlene), Ronald, Angus (Denise), Bernard (Joanne), Mary (Robbie), Barbara (Scott), Deborah; brother, Johnny and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary was a stay-at-home mom. Her door was always open as she enjoyed company, playing cards, visiting, and going on trips. She was a member of the CWL, helped in Palliative Care, was also very active in the Seniors Club. Mary was always willing to help if she could.
Mary always had a strong faith. She loved to go to church, watch Mass on TV and pray the rosary, it meant so much to her. She was glad to meet Minnie, who was always there to visit and say the rosary.
Due to Mary's declining health, she spent the last few months in the manor in Cheticamp then in Inverness. She accepted this to be her home.
We would like to thank the homecare workers, hospital staff, Foyer Pere Fiset staff, Inverary Manor staff and especially the Harbour Lights staff.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Parish Hall, South West Margaree.
Visitation will be held in Inverness Funeral Home on Friday August 15, 2025 from 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday August 16, 2025 in St. Joseph's Church, South West Margaree at 11:00 am. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
