It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick Beaton Larade at the Inverary Manor on September 8, 2016. Patrick was a loving son, brother, uncle and true friend to many people. If there ever was a Montreal Canadian (Habs) fan, he sure was one. He loved hockey so much, it brought a sparkle to his eyes. Patrick had a smile that would light up any room and a contagious laugh, that will never be forgotten and will last in our memories forever. Patrick was an amazing athlete who could run like the wind and could skate over that ice surface like he was floating. He made anyone that crossed his path feel welcome and he touched their hearts in more ways than we can imagine. Pat’s life, even though he was denied quite a lot of things, never did he complain. He made the best of what he had. Never once did he show weakness. He handled his MS with strength, courage and determination that he was going to win this battle. Unfortunately, that wasn’t to be. Patrick lost that battle, but won the hearts of so many people. He passed away peacefully on September 8 at 11:30am surrounded by his loving family, his mother Mary Florence “Flossie” Larade who loved him to the moon and back, his brothers: Rickey (Rita), Lenus (Sandra), Alexander (Natalie), his sisters: Anne Margaret (David) and Rosaleigh (Jeffery) as well as all his nieces and nephews whom he loved unconditionally, Justin and Aaron Ward, Brayden, Meaghan and the late Emma Larade, Brianna and Alaura Larade, Carter and Nate Larade, Melanie, Alexandria and Ryan Davidson. He loved you all so much. Patrick was predeceased by his loving father Alexander Larade and his beautiful niece Emma Larade. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Inverness Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Stella Maris Church in Inverness. Condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.invernessfuneralhome.com. Donations in Patrick’s memory may be made to Inverary Manor, or to Inverness Palliative Care. Arrangements entrusted to Inverness Funeral Home.
