Paul Quentin Campbell came into this world on February 19, 1956 in Boston, Mass. His mother, Catherine "Peggy" MacDonald was from Blackstone, Inverness County, and his father, Horace Quentin Campbell, was from Sunnybrae, N.S. He left this world on May 8, 2025.
Paul was an accomplished businessman who graduated from Suffolk University, in Boston, Mass., with an MBA. Paul traveled extensively throughout his career. He initially settled in Newburyport, Mass., where he enjoyed the views of the Merrimack River. But his dream was always to relocate to Cape Breton. When the opportunity arose, he and his wife Lynda moved to Mabou, N.S. His passion for renovating took hold and he breathed new life into buildings that long needed a little love.
Paul was all about family, above all else. He loved his Cape Breton roots and he was proud to be called a "Saddler". He was kind and generous. His most enjoyable days were those spent entertaining friends and family. Nothing like a good lobster or crab feed to make him content. Paul was loved by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lynda Campbell: nee Morris; and his siblings, Joan, Sandra, Mary, Donnie, and Jerry. He was predeceased by his siblings, Liz, Cathy, Kenny and his parents.
Paul had so many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, whose company he always welcomed. His memory will live on along the shores of the Village of Mabou. Just the way he wanted it.
A private family Mass and celebration of life will happen at a later date. He has been cremated. Burial will happen later with family present.
