I always remember Susan with big smile and a helping hand.  She was passionate and compassionate.  I worked with her when I first started my nursing career until the time she moved out east.  My thoughts and prayers are with Cole and her Family...

Susan is actually the reason I stuck with my first nursing job.  She could see I was struggling and told me to be patient with myself and “give it 6 months.”  She was always there to lend a hand and/or give a kind word.  
Nurses love to chat, and Susan was always telling us about Cole; talking about how proud she was of him.  You could FEEL her love.
She was beautiful inside and out.  My deepest condolences to Cole, and her family.

My Dearest Susan was such a Beautiful compassionate soul . We met at Windsor Regional Hospital and worked side by side as RN ‘s on the Surgical Unit. We hit it off almost immediately, Susan had many visits at my house as well as other friends. Our Sons Logan and Cole always had good times together hanging by the pool. I unfortunately just found out of her passing 3 hours ago and so very saddened by this tragedy 💔 Susan carried many good qualities but the one that I remember is her caring ,compassionate heart almost to a fault . Not only did I love her but her patients adored her. So much so they often would request her as their nurse . Susan was Beautiful inside and out . I will always hold a special place in my heart of your Beautiful Susan 💔 My deepest Condolences 🙏

Well Susan..My final note to you until we meet again..  You had a beautiful service, church was at capacity..  always know.. we will love you forever and never ever forget our one of a kind Friend 💕..
Thank you for being an awesome  co- worker and kind loving Individual who helped make this world a better place by being in it..even for a short while.. Fly high now and Rest in Eternal Peace..

It was always nice to meet Susan on the street or at the store, or at one our restaurants in town; she was a kind and friendly person, sensitive to other's feelings. We had our boys in the same year and used to get them together when they were small.   My condolences to her family on this great loss---the world feels it with you. God bless.

Jim , Lois.  my deepest condolences .no parents should ever have to go through the passing of a child .  One can only hope that her son Cole can help keep her memory alive . I only knew her as a baby in Boston but often wondered  how she turned out and thought one day I might have the pleasure of meeting up with her . From what I have read and heard over the years, that was my loss. I will keep her and you in my prayers and may God watch over all of you.

I worked at the Inverness Hospital with Susan and she was a ray of sunshine no matter what time of night or day. Whether it was three o'clock in the morning or ten o'clock at night Susan would greet you with an enormous smile and a "hey there sister"!  She was a kind, caring, compassionate person which are characteristics of a fabulous nurse. Susan will be missed by all that knew her! I will miss our chats in the hall. Rest easy Susan.

My heartfelt condolences to Susan’s Family and Friends . I am beyond saddened at the loss of such a kind and sweet person . Susan and I went to Nursing School and lived in residence together . I can  still see her smiling and walking down the hall on the 12th floor. Over the years we kept up with each other through mutual friends. Hoping all the cherished memories  you have of Susan comfort you during this sad time .

My heart aches for all of you and the extended family and friends. I don’t really know Susan. I may have met her in Halifax at Jim and Lois’ apt. when she was a child. I remember meeting Susan when I had few friends in Windsor, Ontario. I like her immediately! In the short time she was in Windsor we made some great memories just hanging out or dancing the night away with groups of friends. She had a beautiful spirit and I felt the loss when she moved away. Hearing of her passing breaks my heart for her wonderful family. I know that family was her top priority. Prayers and hugs for peace to those she left behind. 💔😢

Susan was the first friend that I ever made. We met when we were toddlers living in Antigonish while our parents were attending St.F.X. We connected again as teenagers and I adored her. She was one of the loveliest people I have ever been blessed to know.

Nursing school brought me a friendship that I will forever cherish.  Susan was an genuine loving friend and Nurse. She had a heart of gold and a smile that lit up the room and her patient’s faces.  We met up again in Florida, nursing together as well as sharing our pregnancies at the same time. Sue returned to NS but we never lost touch. The phone calls continued over the years, we giggled and talked about our kids becoming adults. She will forever be in my heart. We are absolutely heartbroken about Susan. I remember the day Susan & Karyn wandered off and landed at the RCMP barracks in Antigonish ( Just down the field from where we lived). Scary but we laughed at the look of them when we landed at the barracks to pick them up !! Special memories of a beautiful child who loved chow.
