It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa MacDonnell in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. Theresa was a long-time resident of Inverness.She was a daughter of the late Margaret Basker. Theresa was a member of Stella Maris Parish, Inverness and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Peter and son, John.
She is survived by her sons, Eugene, Archie Joe (Melinda), both of Inverness.
Theresa, in her pastime, loved to play Bingo and was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Theresa enjoyed the simplicities of life and spending quality time with her family.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 5th, 2019 in Inverness Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in Stella Maris Church, Inverness, with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central Inverness Palliative Care Society.
