Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2014, in the Chapel at Dutton Funeral Home, with Rev. Dennis Neal, officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Iowa Park, under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Charles was born May 17, 1961 in Pasadena, Texas, to James and Jeanetta (Croft) Fletcher. He had been a resident of Iowa Park since 1970, moving from Houston, Texas, and graduated from Iowa Park High School in 1980. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park. He worked in the oil field and on pipelines. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1991 and was honorably discharged after 4 years of service. He loved hunting, fishing and animals, and especially loved “Lady” his dog. He was preceded in death by his father, James Fletcher.
He is survived by his mother, Jeanetta Bagley, his fiancé, Brandi Hall, two sisters, Vanessa Hardy and Ann Owen, all of Iowa Park, one niece and several nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Wichita County Humane Society.
