A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Though I never got to take my first steps on earth, my story traveled the world, sharing God’s love and power. Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord thy souls to keep. Though I’ve gone, God’s love will stay, can’t wait to see you all one day.
Judah Creed Zedlitz was born February 28, 2018 in Denver, Colorado and was carried away to his new home in Heaven on Thursday, March 29, 2018. Judah, also known as "Little Lion", was born a fighter! He was born at 24 weeks because of complications his mommy, Heather Zedlitz, was having. Judah was not growing as well as he should have, so on top of that he was 3.5 weeks behind in growth. He was the size of a 21 week baby when he decided to grace us all with his presence. Judah weighed in at a mere 370 grams and stood 10 inches tall. His daddy, Jason Zedlitz, says he was like dynamite, big explosion in a tiny package. Some people call him a “lion” because of his courage and strength. Some call Judah “2.0” because he's gonna be more than his dad could be. His doctors called him “pocket size” because he was so tiny. Judah defied so many odds and though his life may have been short, he was nothing short of a miracle.
Though he's left his family behind, parents, Jason and Heather (Napier) Zedlitz of Fort Morgan, Colorado; grandparents, Mike and Kim Zedlitz of Chandler, Texas and Donny and Mary Napier of Fort Morgan, Colorado; great grandparents, James and Marilyn Zedlitz of Harleton, Texas and John Routh of Kamay, Texas; uncle and aunt, William and Jennifer Harger of Tyler, Texas; uncle, Johnathan Zedlitz of Tyler; and uncle and aunt, Jeff and Brooke Napier of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; and one cousin, Kaylee Marcil of Tyler, and many other loving relatives.
Judah is playing in Heaven with his great grandparents, Carolyn and Dal Gooch; great grandmother, Deanna Routh; great grandparents, Ray and Ethel Napier; and uncle, Dustin Napier. There are many others here that you may know, they wanted Judah to tell you that they love you so.
The meaning of the name Judah in Hebrew is "Praise" and the definition of Creed is "A guiding principle."
