Wilburn Atkinson

He was born to William and Odessa Atkinson on November 30, 1926 in Woodson. He attended school in Graham, Loving, and Woodson. As a young man, he grew up on the farm, learning a lot growing up. That experience, along with his hard work and determination, taught him a great work ethic. He spent the majority of his life running a dozer. He loved it and was a perfectionist.

On June 6, 1959 he married the love of his life, Joyce Seigler.

Wilburn is survived by his wife Joyce, his 5 girls: Mona Willingham of Wichita Falls, Lisa Franklin of Holliday, Angela Lowery and husband Billy of Bowie, Bobbie Hamilton of Wichita Falls and Peggy Killen of Decatur. He had 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Donna Rials of Cityview and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Odessa Atkinson, 5 brothers, James, Kenneth, Ray, Frank and LB, granddaughter, April Lowery, grandson, Kenneth Ball and great-grandson, Garon Davis.

He was a member of Texoma Cowboy Church.
