

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Bradley Harrison Ray, 27, will be conducted at three o’clock on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Bradley passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Melinda Hodges Ray and Don A. Ray. He was a student of the Bible and his faith was paramount. Bradley attended USC and earned his Associate Degree from Midlands Tech in computer technology. He was a 3-D Modeler and Concept Artist in video game creation. He was a former employee at nonPareil Institute in Plano, Texas, where he was an instructor in Photoshop and C#. Bradley loved animals, was very artistic, creative, and was a very articulate writer. Surviving in addition to his parents, Melinda (Vince Holland) and Don (Kathy); sister, Melissa Long (Chris), of Greenville; brother, Stephen Ray (Kait) of Columbia; nephews, Owen and Turner Long; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Betty Poulas McLellan of Cayce; paternal grandmother, Maradelle Ray of Wagener; stepbrothers, Jesse and Jeremy Tetreault, both of Columbia. Bradley was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert L. Hodges and paternal grandfather, Lucas Ray.
