A memorial service for David Edward Burk, 52, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2022 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Burk died Friday, March 25, 2022. Born in Evanston, Illinois, he was a son of Lawrence Burk and Judith Sullivan Burk. He worked as an assistant director for Verizon for the past 30 plus years.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Burk; two sons Ryan and Derek. Mother Judith Burk. Two brothers John (Terese) and Gordon (Tammy) Burk. He also left behind many in-laws, nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence Burk.
He was a loving husband and devoted father who loved spending time with friends and family on and off the golf course.
