COLUMBIA - Deborah Morton Pack, 65, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Born on November 28, 1950 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Bruce Morton and Betty Jean Chandler Morton. Mrs. Pack’s funeral service will be private. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, is assisting the family. Mrs. Pack graduated from Winthrop University and was a teacher at H.B. Rhame Elementary School for many years. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Harper, and her friends, especially “The Buddies.” Surviving are her daughters, Jessica Chavis (Ben) of Columbia and Chandler Baldwin (Joe) of Irmo; granddaughter, Harper Chavis; and aunt, Lillie Mae Morton.
