Donald Troy Eaves

Donald T. Eaves, husband of the late Margie McCoy Eaves, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Don, a native of Missouri, was the son of Nora Eaves. He was a Charter Member of Chapin Baptist Church and Billy Gardner’s Sunday School class and was active in the youth ministry at Chapin Baptist Church. Don served in the Third Army 923 Medical Company. He retired from UPS following 25 years of service.

Don is survived by a loving family and many friends. Don loved flowers and rocks. He was a very loyal Clemson fan. Pallbearers will be David Abstance, Billy Gardner, Robbie Haile, Wesley Moore, Brian Rhett, and Jim Schafer. Honorable pallbearers will be Sonny Shealy, UPS Retirees, Ladies Fast Pitch softball team and Billy Gardner’s Sunday School class.

Services will be held at Chapin Baptist Church on Sunday, February 27, 2021. Visitation will begin at 1:30pm and the funeral will be at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. Following burial there will be a reception in the church Fellowship Hall.
