Don was born on March 6th, 1948, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He attended Farragut High School and then served in the United States Air Force.
Don had a life-long career in repairing radiology equipment where he met x-ray tech, love of his life, and now wife of 46 years Teresa White (Lawson). They married in Chattanooga, TN on April 6, 1979. Don worked for Siemens Medical Solutions for many years which took his family to Chapin, SC where he called “The Empire” home for 39 years.

For any word, phrase, or circumstance, he knew a song about it. He passed down his talents, love of music, and wit to his children and grandchildren, as witnessed through them everyday.
Above all else, Don loved his family. He is remembered as a loving husband and father whose guidance and support will always be cherished.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Teresa White; Daughter, Susanne Williams (Rich); Son, Jefferey White (Danielle); Daughter, Valerie Oonk (Chris); his Brother, William “Bill” White (Su); and was a proud “Paw Paw” to five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
