She lived most of her life in Columbia and worked for the Internal Revenue Service after graduating from Columbia High School.
Lib was a long-time member of Park Street Baptist Church and later Riverland Hills Baptist Church.
She was married to the late Lindsay Paul Blume, Sr. She is survived by her children: daughter, Paulette Blume Geiger (former husband, Frank, deceased); sons, Lindsay P. Blume, Jr. (Teresa), and Wayne R. Blume (Kim): grandchildren: Gretchen Geiger Thornsberry (Jeff), Jennifer Geiger Court (Jeremy), Patrick Blume (Stephanie), Tyler Blume (Hannah), and Ashton Blume (Wes): great grandchildren: Will Thornsberry, Mackenzie and Lindsay Fermin, Carver and Adeline Blume, and Reagan and Max Blume.
Also surviving is her sister, Mary Franklin Holton, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her brothers, Wade, Jimmy, Buck, and her sister, Margaret Neeley.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 31, at Elmwood Cemetery.
