A graveside service for Harriett Moore Gardner, 79, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2014 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo.
Mrs. Gardner passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Born in Columbia, she was the only child of the late Herbert B. Moore and Lois Lomas Moore. Mrs. Gardner was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and the Voight Taylor Sunday School Class. She was a graduate of Winthrop College and retired from SCANA Corporation following 32 years of service as Assistant Corporate Secretary.
Surviving is her husband of 47 years, Carl R. Gardner; daughters, Susan G. Furtick (Richard M.), Caryn G. Currie (Troy J.), Judith G. Gregory (Jimmy R.); grandchildren, William C. Currie, Cody J. Gregory and Kelly F. Gregory.
