Jacqueline Jayne Thacker, aged 93, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, at her home in Columbia, SC. She was born on October 14, 1932 In Charlotte, NC to the late Jackson Hartsell and Madeline Furr Hartsell. She later moved to Columbia, SC.
She is survived by a son Mike Thacker (Sheila), a daughter Debbie (Vance), 3 granddaughters Ashley Liao (Nate), Lauren Boden (Trey), Becca Curtis (Adam), 2 grandsons Rob Jordan (Meagan), Ryan Thacker and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by a twin sister.
A graveside service for Jacqueline will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Salem United Methodist Church, 1321 Salem Church Rd, Irmo, South Carolina 29063.
