Leonard Bates Anderson

Leonard loved many things. At the very top of that list was his family, shortly behind them, his beloved and closest companion, his Labrador Jolene. He enjoyed traveling and a good game of golf. He had many close friends that were very dear to him. Leonard spent the final summer of his life traveling to some of his favorite places, with his wife of 54 years, Karen.

Leonard is predeceased by his son, Timothy Anderson; brother, Howard Anderson, Jr.; and sister, Beverly Chase.

In addition to his wife, Leonard is survived by his brother, Wayne Anderson (Karen) of Maine; two sisters, Carole Rensema of Maine and Lois Graf of Ohio; son, Christopher Anderson of South Carolina; grandchildren, Jamie Hatrick (Brandi) of Columbia, South Carolina, Taylor Anderson (Victoria) of Aiken, South Carolina, Jordan Anderson of Columbia, South Carolina, Whitney Creamer of Columbia, South Carolina, Rene Niman of Columbia, South Carolina, Christopher Anderson, Jr. of Columbia, South Carolina; great grandchildren, Abigail, Logan, Jackson, Taylyn, and Shayne; as well as many nieces and nephews.
