A Funeral for Mary G. Chambers, 76, will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Three Rivers Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. at the church. She passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Palmetto Health, Richland in Columbia. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo is assisting the family.
Mrs. Chambers was born in Macon, Mississippi and lived most of her adult life in South Carolina.
One of the highest joys Mary had was serving the women of Joy of Abiding; a ministry she helped start.
She is survived in death by her husband, Thomas Albert Chambers. She is also survived by her son, Rev. John Thomas Chambers and his family of Rock Hill, SC, and 8 grandchildren.
