She was born on April 16, 1 935, in Oahu, Hawaii, to Percell Ames Raney and Oleta B. Spence Raney.
Mary was the beloved wife of Paul S. Jackson, who preceded her in death in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Clyde Ames Raney (2006). She is survived by her sister, Oleta Swolley of Shell Knob, Missouri.
Mary was a devoted mother to three children: Paula S. Davis of Innaloo City, Western Australia; Jan M. Jackson (Michael Peterson) of Lexington, South Carolina; and James A. Jackson of Greensburg, Louisiana.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mary was a gifted and creative artist who excelled in oil painting and was a skilled wood carver. She was an artist at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, where she shared her talent with visitors. Her creativity, craftsmanship, and gentle spirit will be fondly remembered.
