Patricia (Patti) was born on December 12, 1941 in Gatesville, TX, the third child to Osro Theodore and Maggie Lee (Warren) Wilson.
Patti met and married Belton, SC native Thomas J. Brock (Tom) in Fresno, CA in 1965. They enjoyed a happy loving marriage for 38 years before his passing in 2003. They have lived in the Columbia, Irmo and Prosperity areas after moving to South Carolina in 1968. They were believers in Christ and were members of Christ Covenant Presbyterian, Shady Grove United Methodist Church, and Wightman United Methodist Church.
She attended cosmetology school in Fresno, CA and obtained her certification and license, and began her rewarding career of 40 years as a beautician. She was blessed with a loyal clientele which she lovingly regarded as close as family.
Her friends and family attest to her giving nature, always quick with a smile and a friendly word to encourage. She was a nurturer of the spirit and led a Christ-centered life. She enjoyed hosting dinner parties, especially Christmas gatherings, and making new dishes and desserts. She was an avid reader, enjoyed decorating the home, and never passed up an opportunity to go fishing with her husband. In her later years she enjoyed playing the card game crazy canasta with her dear friends in Prosperity.
