COLUMBIA - Ray Hart Long, Jr., 76, passed away on February 17, 2023. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Ray Hart Long Sr. and Vera Foster Witkowski. Ray served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as a technician for AT&T for 35 years until he retired.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia B. Long; son, Richard Long; daughter, Melody Harrell (Lavar); granddaughter, Mikayla Helman; grandsons, Tiger Long, Kyle Harrell, Micah Harrell; and 2 sisters, Gloria and Melody.
