IRMO - A memorial service for Stuart Dean Henry, 39, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, The family will receive friends from one hour prior and one hour after the service. Dean died Saturday, January 9, 2016. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Mark Howard Henry and the late Dell Eleazer Henry Weed. He graduated from Dutch Fork High School in 1994 and worked as an installer for G&G Services. Dean was a general sportsman and an avid duck hunter. He was a loving son and brother and loved his two children the most in life. Dean was a member of the Boylston Masonic Lodge #123. Surviving are his son, Brandt Harris Henry of Chapin; daughter, Evelyn Elizabeth Henry of Chapin; father, Mark Henry (Diane) of Columbia; brother, Howard Henry (Denise) of Winton-Salem, NC; loving girlfriend, Amanda “Roo” Strickland of Lexington; nieces, Mallory of Charlotte, NC and Hayli of Winston-Salem, NC; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brandt and Evelyn Henry Education Fund care of Howard Henry at any First Citizens bank.
