Thomas passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018. Born in Ronceverte, West Virginia, he was the son of James Wood and brother to Franklin and Samuel.
While in college, Thomas met and fell in love with the love of his life, Raychel. They were married on February 11th, 2011. Thomas was a caring and devoted husband. The love and respect that Thomas and Raychel shared for one another was inspiring.
For anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Thomas, it was obvious what a kind and loving father he was. He was very proud of his sons, Ryan and Hayden, and showered them with love and encouragement. He taught them to value the importance of kindness, acceptance, and respect.
The family loved spending time together and enjoyed weekly trips to the zoo, spending their summers at the pool, and enjoyed a family vacation to Disney World last year.
Thomas was a hardworking and dedicated nurse. He was employed with Open Door Personnel. He devoted his career to providing care to adults with special needs as this was an important passion of his. His commitment and joy for his career were evident.
He is survived by his wife, Raychel; sons, Ryan and Hayden Wood; and leaves behind many loving family members and incredible friends.
