Of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the age of 80. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Bobby G. Childers Sr. She will be remembered by a total of seven children, Bobby, Jr. (Kimberly), Brian (Terry), Bradley (Julie) and Barton (Alicia) Childers; three children from a previous marriage, Robin (Troy) Green, Barry (Jana) King and Vicky (Troy) Kentra; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Barbara also has two sisters, Norma (Ken) Cooper and Karen (Rick) Jurewicz and many nieces and nephews. She was a dedicated homemaker; touched many lives and will be greatly missed. A service celebrating her life will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 1030 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Patricia Kenny officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
