Of Jackson, Mi passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 66. Barbara was born in Bay City, MI on April 2, 1955, to parents Joseph and Vivian Donner. She was a registered nurse, working as a staff nurse and assistant head nurse at W.A. Foote Memorial Hospital from 1977 until 2002 and as a staff nurse at area nursing homes from 2002 until retiring in 2006. Barbara was a long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, active on the church council, choir, Stephen's Ministry, and the food pantry. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crocheting gifts for friends and family. Barbara always greeted people with a smile and never complained of pain. She is survived by her mother, Vivian; sisters Susan (Robert), Nancy, and Janice; beloved nieces Jennifer, Anna, and Caitlin; beloved nephews Justin and Joshua; and her beloved great-nieces and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Joseph. Per her wishes cremation has been chosen, A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 1:00 PM with Pastor Kate Schroeder Officiating. Barbara will be laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery Cadillac Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
