Barbara Lynn Olson (Maxson)

Of Jackson, passed away May 26, 2015 age 76. Survived by her husband of 20 years, Jack; five children, Bruce Maxson, Brian (Lou Ann) Maxson, Beth Maxson, Jeremy Olson, and KayCee Olson; three step children, Craig Olson, Jeffery (Sharon) Olson, and Kimberly (Jerry) Conley; three grandchildren, Crystal (Jordan) Heard, Adam Maxson, and Alexandria Maxson; five step grandchildren, Jerry Conley, Tracy Conley, Ryan Hicks, Sydney Olson, and Zack Olson; six great grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Muinch. Preceded in death by one brother, Gary Martin and one daughter in law, Jamie Maxson. Barbara’s first priority was living a Godly life dedicated to her Lord And Savior, Jesus Christ. Secondly, she was committed to her family and her children. No matter the time of day or night, she was always there to lend a helping hand. Barbara’s love for children was apparent not only with her own, but the many that she provided care for over the years and loved as if they were hers. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, never missing an important event for any of them. She had a way of making everyone around her feel special by treating even the most remote stranger as one of her family. Barbara was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Barbara was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church where funeral services will be held Monday June 1, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Cremation will follow service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday 2-6 P.M. and Monday at the church 10:00 A.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran School.
