Charlene M Arcaro

Of Jackson passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband Riccardo J. Arcaro and her son, Anthony C. Arcaro. She is survived by her daughter, Luana (Alex) Waithe; son, Riccardo (Cynthia) Arcaro; daughter-in-law, Georgene ; grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexandra, Julian and Nicole (Jason); brother-in law, Frank; sister’s in-law, Sally, Grace and Dorothy. Charlene had many special loving nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Virginia “Babe” Kirk, Kay Drake, Cindy Arcaro, Mary Lou Nicholas, Elsie Donaldson and her little darling Ruby. Charlene was a woman of integrity and immense strength. Her laughter and sense of humor was contagious. She had a profound sense of love and generosity towards family and friends. Charlene always looked forward to Karen and Gary’s visits and meals from Giglio’s Restaurant. The family would like to acknowledge Dr. David Halsey, Dawn and staff for many years of exceptional care. Also, Hospice nurse, Jessica Black; caregivers, Karen Giglio, Janet Robertson, Sandy Andrus, Rosemarie Brant and Nona Smith. whose care made it possible for Charlene to remain in her home. She will be missed by many people who loved her. A kind face is a precious gift and Charlene Arcaro gave her precious gifts of love, kindness, compassion, joy and endless laughter to the many lives she touched. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Christian Memorial Mass is scheduled at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 1:30p.m. with Father Cecilio Reyna officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until the time of service.
