Of Grass Lake, passed away September 16, 2016 age 80. Survived by 7 children, Laurie (Jay) Galvin, Marc (Brenda) Hawkins, David (Bonnie) Hawkins, Michele (John) Wheeler, Andrea Gray, William (Tina) Hawkins and Scott (Susan) Hawkins, 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Joan Gier, Carol Harner and Bonnie (Art Adams) Urbaniak, sister-in-law, Nancy (John) King, brother-in-law Donald Hawkins and her beloved dog, Molly. Preceded in death by her husband, William, 2 great grandchildren, Merissa and Elana, 1 son-in-law, Daniel Gray, 1 brother, Red Natschke and her parents, Clarence and Juanita Natschke. As a young woman she worked at the Dome as a car hop and later worked at Christ Lutheran Church and Montgomery Wards. Donna was a loving mother and grandmother, to her, her biggest accomplishment in life was raising 7 children. A celebration of her life will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday September 20, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. Burial Oakwood Cemetery, Grass Lake. Visitation Monday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. and Tuesday 12-1 P.M. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
