Of Jackson, passed away peacefully at the age of 84. While under the care of Henry Ford Hospice Home on Thursday, October 19, 2023. He is survived by his sister, Joyce (Jerry) Lorencen and two nieces, Christine (Gordon) Bernstein and Teresa (Michael) Herrington; four great nephews and one great niece. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Kathy Hartman. He was born on February 6, 1939 in Jackson, Michigan to Floyd and Dorothy Bigcraft. He retired from industrial Steel after 30 years of service. He will be remembered by all for the artwork he gave out to everyone he knew. Funeral services will be held at Burden and Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave. Jackson, 49202) on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service. He will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery.
