Of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Augustine and her sister, Stella Tarasiewicz. She will be remembered by her children, Michael (Kathleen) Augustine and Christine (Durwin) Williams; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends. Mrs. Augustine was born to Joseph and Stella (Rapella) Krulikowski in Jackson on August 25, 1923. She attended Jackson Public Schools and like many women of her time, she started working at Mercy Hospital before she could finish school. She carried her work ethic throughout her life and retired from Sparton after over 30 years of service. She had a strong faith in the Lord and was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostika where she was president of the Rosary Society. She was an avid bowler; enjoyed spending time with family, playing bingo, and was a fabulous Polish cook. According to her wishes, cremation has been selected and a graveside service will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
