Gloria J. Brashares

Of Munith, MI, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital in Jackson MI at the age of 76. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Allen Brashares Jr.; children Mark (Michelle) Brashares, Wendy (Dave) Vermeulen, Carl (Deborah) Brashares; grandchildren, Amanda Smock, Heather Hornes, Cory Brashares, Bobby Sutherby, Kodey Brahsares, sisters, MaryAnn (Paul) King, Margeret (Jerry) Brooks as well as numerous Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Gloria was born on April, 23, 1940 in Detroit, MI to Carl and Irene (Bayma) Pernaski. She loved her grandchildren, enjoyed bird watching, listening to music and tiger baseball.

The family will receive friends at the Commonwealth Commerce Center (209 E. Washington Jackson, 49201) on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. for a memorial visitation; to share thoughts and stories. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Shriners Children Hospital "Love to the Rescue" www.shriners.org
