Of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 74. Jack was born in Jackson, Michigan on April 8, 1951, to parents John William and Mary Lou (Fall) Murray. He married his wife of 34 years, Mary Lou Murray, on October 21, 1992. Jack enjoyed recording movies, woodworking, and camping. He also enjoyed playing pool and horse shoes, and going to Six Flags.
Jack is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Murray; children Shawn Murray, Albert Hutchings, Ben Hutchings, Bobby Jo Hutchings, and Rick Phelps; siblings Jo Ann (Mike Thomson) McLaury, Sue (Mark) Herrington, Lou Ann (Brian) Mayson, Vickie (Randy) Litteral, and David (Jennifer) Oexler; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Bryon Murray. A celebration of Jack’s life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #612, 301 Detroit Street, Jackson, Michigan.
