Of Jackson, passed away November 23, 2014 age 71. She was born to Robert and Edna Norris on November 2, 1943; they preceded her in death. She was married to George Artis, who also preceded her in death. Out of this marriage six children were born: Sherry Moorer, Rosalyn Moorer, George Lee Artis Jr., Bonita Artis, Lynette Artis, and Adair Artis; also survived by her siblings: Carol Williams, Kenneth Norris, Gerald (Donna) Norris, Kathy (Brinkman) Norris James, and Johnny Norris. Preceded in death by siblings: Elmer Norris, Maryann Cawthorn, Rosie Lee Arnold, and Patricia Artis; 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A home going service will be held at Bethesda Church of God in Christ, Tuesday December 2, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with family hour starting at 10:00 A.M. Burial Woodland Cemetery.
